Envision was appointed by Cornerstone Homes to provide sustainability and energy assessments for their latest development proposal in Surbiton.

The scheme, which received planning consent in January 2018, includes 29 residential units, ranging in size from 1,2 and 3 bedrooms as well as family maisonettes.  The development will significantly regenerate the site and surrounding area.

Envision has worked on a number of projects within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, and is familiar with the policy requirements in place.

Envision worked closely the design team, led by Colwyn Foulkes Architects, and Simply Planning Ltd to design the scheme to exceed minimum requirements where possible. The scheme is designed in compliance with London Plan policy for CO2 reduction. It includes highly efficient building fabric, coupled with a 30 kWp PV array to offset approximately 12 tonnes of CO2 per annum.

The project is an example of the on-going successful relationship with the client and design team.
