Envision is working with EDF Energy to develop the sustainability strategy for the proposed Sizewell C new nuclear power station. Envision has been investigating how to maximise the opportunities to embed sustainable design and construction best practice within the proposals, respecting the constraints and complexity posed by delivering a nuclear infrastructure project. The sustainability strategy focuses on minimising the use of natural resources and minimising the impact on climate change. Envision is preparing the sustainability statement for this Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) to support the application for a Development Consent Order.
