Envision holds specialist capability developing bespoke sustainability appraisal methods for strategic infrastructure projects. Envision acted as sustainability advisor to the Thames Tideway scheme during its strategic planning stages.The 25 km tunnel runs under the tidal section of the River Thames through central London. Once complete, the Tunnel will provide capture, storage and conveyance of almost all the combined raw sewage and rainwater discharges that currently overflow into the river Thames.
Envision worked within a multi-disciplinary project team to develop a Sustainability Appraisal and Statement in support of the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project.
