Envision were appointed to develop a BREEAM, Sustainability and Energy strategy for the sensitive refurbishment and conversion of the former Kimberley Nursing Home site at The Avenue in Surbiton, South-West London. The scheme creates 12 new high-quality apartments within the shell of the existing building, whilst retaining the listed front façade and other key design features.
Envision advised on the integration of key sustainable design and construction methods, ensuring the scheme achieves a minimum score of BREEAM ‘Very-Good’ and will see the refurbished building emit 40% less CO2 emissions that the original building.
