Our Scope: Home Quality Mark Assessor

The West End of Leeds is undergoing significant redevelopment, of which the Wellington Square scheme is part of. The scheme involves 464 residential build to rent apartments, with associated amenity space, plant space, refuse store and cycle stores located in a 45-storey tower.

Envision is providing Home Quality Mark services to McLaren Living, appointed to provide a strategy to deliver Home Quality Mark level 4-star. Envisions scope for the scheme has been largely influential in guiding the sustainability principles being incorporated into the scheme throughout Stage 4. Our scope involves, not only defining the strategy but also completing the design and post-construction stage Home Quality Mark assessments with the target of achieving certification at 4-star.

Home Quality Mark 4-star broadly represents advanced best practice, in terms of the top 25% of domestic buildings being able to achieve it. Our trusted and knowledgeable Home Quality Mark assessors, use their expertise to guide the design team to target sustainability measures that are the most beneficial for them. Envision have liaised with the project team, to determine the most appropriate strategy to achieving Home Quality Mark 4-star, throughout Stage 4, and are on track to achieving interim certification in 2025.
