Envision, in conjunction with Blueprint Building Services Solutions, undertook the design for the mechanical and electrical services for the new Barwell Stand at Northampton Saints’ Franklin Gardens ground.
In designing the HVAC, domestic hot and cold water and drainage systems for the new stand, which included services for the catering facilities to the Executive Boxes and the new Members Lounge and Bar areas, Envision tailored the services to cope with high demand leading up to, and during, match days.
Working with Blueprint BSS and the clients design team, Envision co-ordinated a design programme allowing demolition of the old pavilion stand and the construction of the new stand to occur between rugby seasons. This involved meeting planning and tender submission dates critical to successful delivery of the project.
