Envision has been working as sustainability and BREEAM advisors on behalf of Barwood Capital for a 30,000 sqft office and multi storey car park in Linford Wood, Milton Keynes.
The site is part of a wider estate development and forms the last plot in the development of the Woodlands Business Park. The scheme was granted consent by Milton Keynes Council in April 2021, and is planned to reach BREEAM Outstanding.
Envision supported the multi disciplinary team, led by Milton Keynes based architect PRC, to develop the BREEAM strategy for the site. The building will incorporate a range of sustainable design features in order to meet this rating. Envision undertook life cycle assessment and life cycle costing to help plan the sustainability initiatives, helping to reduce embodied carbon of the the office building, as well as leading the BREEAM assessment.
