Moor redevlopment Main works

Envision is a member of Aberdeen Standard Investment’s sustainability panel.  The redevelopment of The Moor is an example of how Envision supports investor clients with sustainability, energy and BREEAM advice.

The Aberdeen Standard Sustainability Panel was formed in 2015 to help embed responsible investment into property portfolios. Envision is a key member of the panel, having helped to establish the investment principles and processes that responsible property investment should follow. The principles includes minimum standards which new build and refurbishment projects to achieve, and how sustainability performance in design, construction and operation is monitored. It is a key aspect of Aberdeen Standard’s commitments towards GRESB.

The redevelopment and remodelling of the Moor is taking place over a phased programme of works. Envision has been working with the latest phase of development, involving the remodelling of a number of existing buildings and the construction of a new H&M retail unit. The building is being designed to achieve BREEAM Very Good as well as address a range of  wider sustainability principles in the refurbishment works. Good progress is being made on site by the main contractor McLaughlin and Harvey.
